How to get there

Bunbury is located less that two hours’ drive from Western Australia’s capital city of Perth and is one of Western Australia’s most popular travel destinations. It is the ideal weekend or short stay getaway from Perth.

The Geographe region in which Bunbury sits is home to one of the south west’s budding wine regions, a thriving arts scene (check out the street art) and host of environments perfect for outdoor adventures and water sports activities…no wonder its become the home of the Action Sports Games.

Train
Australind train service is one of the cruisiest ways to get there. The Australind travels between Perth and Bunbury. Departing twice a day during the week, it covers the journey in two and a half relaxing hours.

Bus
Southwest Coach Lines travels has four services per day departing from the Perth International and Domestic Airport Terminals each day and three departures from Elizabeth Quay Bus Port daily.

Drive
Bunbury is a 1 hour and 40 minute drive south of Perth. Please take the Kwinana Freeway south which links to the Forrest Hwy taking you directly to the City of Bunbury. There is average speed check camera on the Forrest Hwy so please take care.

Where to Stay

There are so many places to book accommodation in Bunbury and it has everything from 5 star down to back packers accommodation.
Because the Action Sports Games is held over a long weekend, the City has a tendency to book out pretty fast so the early you get onto it the more you will save.
Also try AirBnB and Stayz as this is a great alternative.

Bunbury Food Truck Fiesta
