With a $20,000 prize purse to share, the world’s best pro riders in Skateboard, Scooter and BMX will battle it out over the event weekend.

For the second year in a row MAMBO have come on board as a major sponsor of the Action Sports Games and are taking it up a few gears this year as the event’s first apparel partner.

This year’s scooter competition forms part of the International Scooter Association, which means entrants will be battling it out for a spot in the Scooter World Titles in England later this year.

The scooter competition will be filled with Australian talent, including the “godfather or scootering” Coedie Donovan who will be travelling over from the east coast and bringing over ten years of scooter experience.

Perth local and Sacrifice pro rider Ben Thomas is also a hot favourite for the world championship spot and to put pressure on Donovan.

Perth local and Freestyle Now BMX rider Dylan Schmidt will be returning to Action Sports Games to defend his 2013 Skatepark Competition win.

The BMX line-up also includes 2013’s second-placed Dom Williams, Queensland’s Nathan Philps who returns from a recent knee injury and Gold Coaster Jack Fahey.

The Action Sports Games is held in conjunction with the Channel Seven Crabfest for a weekend of free family fun that attracts over 100,000 spectators each year.

The Mambo Skatepark will come alive throughout the event, alongside the International Wakeboard and Waterskii World Cup that sees over 70 international water sport athletes compete for a World Title.

Mambo have designed the limited edition Action Sports Games merchandise which will be available to purchase at the event and online at www.mamboaustralia.com

Tourism Western Australia and the Department of Regional Development and Lands are proud to support the Action Sports Games Mandurah through the Royalties for Regions – Regional Events Program, which is administrated by Eventscorp.
